HELP US WITH OUR MEDICAL FUND THIS BIG DAY OF GIVING

Medical costs come in many forms…not to mention the cones…
Some dogs are unable to leave the shelter, unless a rescue pulls them because of medical needs (Bonnie Raitt), some dogs come to us with unexpected medical needs from surgery (Haribo for pyometria, Mimosa for her amputation). They also come in the form of medicine, because of a cough or open wound (many of our dogs have come in with kennel cough and Rolo came in with many open wounds needing a drain put in and strong antibiotics and anti pain meds), to x-rays (for Delilah to determine what her jaw issue was) or after surgery physical therapy (for Odessa and Rico). Some also come in the form of fospice dogs’ needs like heart medicine, insulin or just continued vaccines/vet appts as they live out their golden years.

In 2022, FDR spent ❗️$138,000❗️on medical and so far, since January, we have spent over ❗️$30,000❗️on medical costs ➡️NOT⬅️including spays, neuters and basic vaccines. Currently over 90% of our dogs are not spayed, neutered or fully vaccinated upon intake).
❤️ We need your help in order to continue helping the dogs in need - at shelters, in unsuitable environments, in situations in our community where people can no longer care for their pets and our continued support of our fospice dogs (currently we have 15 in our care) and dogs in our care waiting to be adopted.❤️
